What is Dev Studio?
Dev Studio is the Inference Analytics product for building AI agents, at InferAgents.ai. It is where a health system's own engineering team builds, tests and ships agents, with API, token and quota management built in.
Is Dev Studio the same as InferAgents?
Yes. Dev Studio is the product and InferAgents.ai is its home. It runs on the same HIPAA-compliant core as Inferch and PayerAgents.
Who uses Dev Studio?
Health-system IT, informatics and engineering teams. At University of Chicago Medicine, the health system's own IT organisation builds agents in it directly.
Do you need to write code to build an agent?
Not for the common cases: agents are assembled visually from ready-made stages. Connecting new source systems and approving production releases remain engineering work.
